Finding Your Center + just saying hello!
Hi friends. I’ve missed you. There’s been much in the world that’s been confusing. How are you connecting to a centered placed through it all?
Whether it is a walking practice, sitting meditation, time in nature, painting, playing, or sipping tea each morning, do you currently have a way you can ground and connect to yourself? Time and space where you get to replenish you in a fuller way: your heart, spirit, expansiveness, history, dignity, and longing for connection, etc.?
We may have coping mechanisms we wish we didn’t. I want to name that I believe we do the best we can to take care of ourselves. Sometimes we move towards (our version) of a healthier path for ourselves and sometimes we move towards vices and habits we despise, though which offer us something too.
In somatic coaching, we teach a practice called centering. It’s about becoming more open, connected, and present. It helps us to feel more and de-numb ourselves. If you’re curious about somatic coaching, please join my next virtual meet up or reach out to chat.
Overall - let’s be gentle with our progress and path, yeah?
Likely, there is more to honor and celebrate about our journey and progress than we may be noticing.
Warmly,
Sarah

Try this Practice: Have a Hissy Fit! (3-5 minutes)
If anyone wants to have a hissy fit with me... here's a short video I made last month after the news of Roe V. Wade. Hissy fits can be a practice you start playing around with to feel more and express your feelings. Maybe you do it alone, or with someone else, like your kids. I know I have found it helpful.
